Ford F-Series Trucks
Ford introduced the F-Series trucks on January 16, 1948
to the American people. At that Time, the company did not
know the impact that the vehicles would make on our
society. Today, 50 years later, the F-Series pickup
trucks continue to carry on the tradition of a half
century of being "Built Ford Tough"
With a proud, hard-working heritage, Ford's
F-Series trucks have encompassed a number of different
models, including the best-known F-1, F-100, F-150, and F-250. Originally used by farmers, manufacturers, and small
businesses, the trucks underwent significant changes in
the 1950's, making the trucks more like cars in both
styling and comfort. This transformation moved Americans
toward a more recreational use of the F-Series pickup
trucks.
Since the vehicle's introduction, more
than 26 million F-Series trucks have been purchased
worldwide by consumers, businesses, and commercial fleet
customers, making the F-Series pickup trucks the most
successful vehicle line in automotive history.
We are inducting the Ford F-Series Trucks
for celebrating 50 years of providing rugged and reliable
transportation as the best-selling vehicle in history.

American Graffiti
Directed by a then relatively unknown filmmaker named
George Lucas, and produced by a rising star named Francis
Ford Coppola, American Graffiti hit the big screen in
1973 and introduced cruisin' to a whole new generation. This depiction now allows all future generations to enjoy
what many of us had the chance to experience.
With a young up-and-coming cast that
included Richard Dryfuss, Harrison Ford, Ron Howard,
Cindy Williams, Suzanne Somers, Paul Le Mat, and Candy
Clark, among others, the coming-of-age film became an
instant modern day classic.
Today, we are deliberating the 25th
Anniversary of this film classic, in addition to
reuniting the cars from the film (which you can see here
today) with some if the film's stars, we are also proud
to theme the weekend's festivities around the life and
times of American Graffiti.
We are inducting American Graffiti for
its 25th anniversary of the cinematic depiction of the
classic cruisin' era for future generations to appreciate
and enjoy.

In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger was founded in 1948 in nearby Baldwin
Park, by Harry and Esther Snyder.
Maintaining the same philosophy for the
past 50 years, In-Out-Burger strives to 'give customers
the freshest, quality foods you can buy and provide them
with friendly service in a sparkling clean environment." Since the beginning, the basic menu-- burgers, fires, and
drinks--has remained unchanged, with everything made
fresh to order.
It was dedication and a little
imagination that created the idea of the drive-thru
hamburger stand. Today, drive-thru restaurants can be
found on major streets and highways across the country.
We are inducting In-N-Out Burger for
serving fresh, quality food to cruisin'' Americans for 50
