Jeff Williams from Rancho Cucamonga took top honors in the Freestyle Category.
What
is the Burnout Contest?
It doesn't take a lot
of power to start the tires smoking, but the longer they smoke,
the hotter they get and the better they "Hook up." Contestants rev their engines and allow their tires to spin and burn rubber. They have one minute to draw the most smoke, make a lot of noise, and get the audience excited! There will also be a drift show during the contest intermission.
Where is the contest
held?
The Burnout Contest is held at the Orange Show Speedway.
There is a $10.00 admission fee into the Burnout Contest. Kids 10
years old and younger are admitted free.

Participants enter from "E" Street, south of Mill
Street at Gate #11.
· Spectator parking is located at Gates 7 & 8 off of Arrowhead Avenue.
When
is the contest held?
Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. You must check-in your vehicle beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Does it cost to enter the
contest?
The Burnout Contest is open to the general public and limited to the first
50
vehicles.
It cost $15.00 per vehicle.
How is the Burnout Judged?
The winner of each class is determined by the reaction of the
crowd - in the judge’s opinion.

RULES:
- Contestants must remain within
specified area.
- Contestants agree to stop
immediately when checkered flag waves and air horn is sounded.
- Any infraction of the rules is
subject to disqualification and no refund of entry fee.
- Entrants will be allowed to burnout straight or in circles
- Time limit is one minute
The winners are announced immediately after the contest on Saturday, September 15, 2012. The winner will receive a cash prizes.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Best Buddies Organization.
