Location: Upper level of the Carousel Mall next to the Information Booth
Entry Fee: $5.00 (Unlimited entries). Participants 13 years and younger are free.

CLASS TYPES (Please note that there have been some changes in the classes.)
1 - Hot Rod/Street Rod - Any pre 1950 car or truck built in either the Hi-Tech or Traditional style. Must have treaded tires - NO SLICKS
2 - Drag Race - Any car or truck set up to run the 1/4 mile. (Pro-stocks, Funny Cars, Dragsters, Pro-Mods, Pro-Sportsman, Jet Car / Trucks, etc.)
3 - Nostalgia Drag Race - Any car or truck that would have run the 1/4 mile Prior to 1973 or would qualify for Nostalgic Drag racing today. (Funny Cars, Dragsters, Altereds, Gassers, etc.)
4 - Custom - Any fully customized Car or Truck of any year. (Includes "Show" customs, Movie/TV Cars, Concept Cars/Trucks)
5 - Street Machine - Any 1950 or newer car or truck with treaded tires. Tubbed vehicles must appear to be street legal - NO SLICKS (Includes Muscle Cars, Pro-street Cars/Trucks)
6 - Low Rider - Any car or truck of all years that has been lowered, slammed, or dropped, and built in the low-rider tradition. (Mild or Wild)
7 - Competition - Any car/truck built for competition other than Drag Race (Winston Cup, Indy Car, Road Race, etc.)
8 - Box Stock/Out of Box - Any Car/Truck Built right out of the box. Paint, Bare Metal Foil, Flocking and Decal alterations are allowed. No body modifications are allowed unless specified in the instructions. (The base kits instruction sheet is required to be eligible.)
9 - Curbside - Any car or Truck built purely for "Looks". No engine or interior. Windows may be blacked out. If the interior is visible, the interior WILL NOT be judged or count in the judging.
10 - Miscellaneous - Any automotive subject not covered in the other classes. (Example - Drag Boats, Zingers, Cartoon Vehicles, Small Scale, Large Scale, etc.)
11 - Looks Good in Suede - Any car or truck that is complete and the exterior has a primer finish. (Rat Rods, Customs, etc.)
12 - Motorcycle - All scales, all styles. Street bikes, drag bikes, custom bikes, road race bikes.
13 - Trucks - This class is designed primarily for street trucks up to and including 1-ton pick-ups or flatbeds. Entries may be stock, modified, or mild customs. Any degree of detail is allowed.
14 - Juniors - ages up to and including 17 years old - (Juniors may enter the regular classes if they choose)
15 - Best of Show
Rules and Regulations:
- 1st - 3rd place award plaques in all classes (except Best of Show)
- This show will be critically judged. The judges will not handle the entries. If there is a special detail to the chassis of the entry you may place it on a mirror base. (see Rule 4)
- All entries are to be the sole work of the entrant
- Sorry, but due to space limitations, there can be no large displays or dioramas (Mirror base will be allowed within reason)
- There is NO diorama class and there is a "No Sweeps" rule at this show.
- All entries must be picked up at the end of the award ceremony.
- Rules and categories are subject to change without notice
- Winning entries from previous Route 66 Rendezvous shows are not eligible for awards.

"MAKE AND TAKE" A MODEL CAR (Quantities are limited)
Kids ages 13 years and under are invited to build a model car while at the event and take it home with them - free of charge. Kids must be accompanied by a parent in order to participate. Volunteers will be available to assist with the build
