What
is the Neon Light Contest?
The
neon lights are used to highlight special points or features
of the vehicle such as the dashboard and wheels.
In addition, the neon lights are usually color coded to
match the unique paint found on the vehicles.
Winners of the Old Skool and LED Lights Categories each won a $300 Gift Certificate to Eddie Motorsports and a T-shirt and Hat from Eddie Motorsports.
Where is the contest
held?
The Neon Light Contest will be held on 5th
Street between Arrowhead Avenue and Mt. View.
When
is the contest held?
You will need to check-in your vehicle between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012. The contest will be held between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Does it cost to enter the
contest?
No, there is not a charge to enter the Neon Light Contest, however, you must be a registered participant of the Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous to enter.
What
do you win?
Winners are judged by the crowd’s applause. There are two categories: Old Skool Lights and LED Lights. The winners are announced immediately after the contest. Winners will receive a plaque, prizes to be announced, and bragging rights for the entire year!
