What
is the Neon Light Contest?
The
neon lights are used to highlight special points
or features
of the vehicle such as the dashboard and wheels.
In addition, the neon lights are usually color coded to
match the unique paint found on the vehicles.
Where is the contest
held?
The Neon Light Contest will be held on 3rd
Street between Arrowhead Avenue and Sierra Way next to
Meadowbrook Park.
When
is the contest held?
On Thursday night Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00
p.m. You must check-in your vehicle between 6:00 p.m. and
8:00 p.m.

Does it cost to enter the
contest?
No, there is no charge to enter this contest event, however,
your vehicle must be registered to enter the Route 66
Rendezvous.
What
do you win?
Winners are judged by the crowd applause. The two
categories are Best Overall Use and Crowd Pleaser.
The winners are announced immediately after the contest. The
winners will receive a plaque. |
